The Ericsson 'G Series' fixes wireless terminal has been discontinued. Although
Ericsson's support of this product should continue for some time, new product is no longer availabie. All research and
development, instead, will be focused on the newer 'W Series' of terminals.

3rd Generation data handling is available with the new "W3" series wireless terminal from Ericsson. The WCDMA/HSPA
'3G' network is now capable of up to 7.2 Mbps download speed and 2.0 upload speed. A unique feature of the Ericsson
'W3' series is that, if a 3G SIM card or a 3G network is not available, the terminal will function seamlessly with the current
GPRS/EDGE network. This new technology will also allow simultaneous voice and data transmission.
